Sewing Class - Afternoon Workshop (full)

Learn the basics of sewing during a fun and informative afternoon workshop. Suitable for beginners and novices, our half-day workshop will allow you to create a simple piece to proudly take home. Ideal for discovering sewing in a fun way!

Number: per group of 5 people maximum

Beginner Sewing Workshop Program:

This program is designed to guide you step-by-step through learning the basics of sewing. By the end of the workshop, you will have acquired the following skills:

• threading a sewing machine
• discovering different stitches
• taking your measurements
• sewing on simple fabric
• learning to read and use a pattern
• sewing without a pattern
• assembling fabric pieces
• making neat finishes
• creating a simple project: tunic, beach bag, or scrunchies

Materials to bring:

• sewing machine if you have one
• sewing scissors
• thread cutter
• tailor's chalk or erasable pen
• tape measure
• sewing pins

Materials provided by the sewing workshop:

• fabrics
• small haberdashery items (threads, elastic, bias tape, etc.)
