Hello and welcome to my world :)
When I was a child, I used to cut up my older sister's curtains to make dresses and accessories. Of course, I didn't have a sewing machine yet, so I'd grab a needle and thread and quickly make things by hand!
As I got older, I continued to modify my clothes, adding my personal touch. I'd cut up jackets, remove sleeves, glue on sequins... ;)
I'm passionate about ethnic fashion. I love sewing colorful, high-quality fabrics. I highlight the fabrics of my origins while developing "Made in France" through a collection of children's clothing, women's clothing, and accessories.
Most accessories are made with fabric scraps, and yes, that's very important for our environment ;) so let's avoid waste.
When I was in junior high, specifically in ninth grade, I embarked on a year of fashion discovery, and then I gradually started to sew.
Sewing, creation, and art define me. Welcome to my world!
Kaysol? What does it mean? And why that name?
Do you know the Wolof language? Well, it's my mother tongue, almost (Fula is my true mother tongue). I'm of Mauritanian origin but born and practically raised in Senegal. So I learned the Wolof language, which is the common language of all ethnic groups in Senegal.
